Eco Africa Experience is a division of Mantis Education, part of the world-renowned Mantis Collection. Mantis recognises that education is an important facet of the growth and ultimate success of the world’s youth. This, combined with the incredible involvement that Mantis has in conservation, was the perfect platform for the establishment of Eco Africa Experience, where the integration of education and conservation is key to developing projects that make a real difference.
Eco Africa Experience specializes in the development, management and marketing of conservation and community student/youth programmes in Southern Africa. The division is headed by Taryn Ingram-Gillson, based from the Mantis Head Office in Port Elizabeth.
The first Eco Africa Experience project is the Nakavango Conservation Programme near Victoria Falls. In line with the Mantis slogan of “Unearthing the Exceptional” – the Nakavango Conservation Programme is certainly exceptional, in its achievements, location on the beautiful Stanley and Livingstone Private Game Reserve and proximity to the Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world!
The next project is set to start in the beautiful Eastern Cape province of South Africa.
